Kit de survie en territoire masculiniste

The term incel stands for «involuntary celibate». It is a self-designation of an internet community of heterosexual men who do not have sex or romantic relationships but believe that they are entitled to both. In internet forums and chat rooms, they discuss their self-pity and hatred and justify the use of violence against women with their claim to have a right to sex.
In «Kit de survie en territoire masculiniste» (Survival Kit for a Masculinist Territory), the audience follows a woman on a walk in the centre of Bern. As they do so, they hear the story of one such incel via headphones. This intersects with the description of a woman's attempt to understand this violent community.

After the audiowalks there will be an opportunity to talk to the makers.

Pintozor Prod. is a multidisciplinary collective of female artists who work between theatre, performance, audio-walks, and installations. What unites them, is their interest in feminist utopias and ways of working, which allow them to take a breather once in a while.
On 6.5. an artist from Pintozor Prod. will be in action as DJ Maxtor in the Grosse Halle following the concert.
